About Big Paintball:
Probably one of the most chill farming games I’ve played, but be warned that it takes away a lot of the complexity involved with games like Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley. It’s very point A to point B and talk to this person, then talk to that person. I’ve felt kind of like I’m playing a mobile game on more than one occasion, basically waiting for the “pay to unlock this” prompt to pop up – but it hasn’t. Harvest Moon has been my go-to from the get go so to enjoying the simplicity of this has been surprising. You don’t need to think in any capacity and that might be it’s best selling point. It’s wonderfully mindless if you don’t have the brain power for anything else. and cant wait for a decent harvest moon-esk game like tree of tranquility or animal parade. And i do like Stardew Valley, but the 2d top down just aint for me. So – enter stage, Big Farm Story. Its not that the game is bad. I’ve been putting a decent amount of time into it. Its addicting in every way a farming sim is, cant wait to get up and make the next profit and grow the farm. The Art style and environment is very pleasant to look at, a plentiful amount of design options for your farm. However, to my disappointment, the crops you farm, sell for about as much as dirt. Your hard work isn’t rewarded , instead its conserved to play with an old lady and her lama for a game of bingo. You save resource x and z to hopefully get your number called for some other resources you could careless for but need them for upgrades.
