Crisis Core is the prequel to FFVII and follows the story of Zack Fair, a 1st Class Soldier working for the Shinra Company along with his mentor Angeal and the fan-favorite Sephiroth. Without going into spoilers, Zack’s story is of vital importance as he’s deeply connected to Cloud, Aerith and Sephiroth, being part of what was once narrated through dialogues and flashbacks in the original FFVII. While the story is certainly entertaining.
