The art is stunning and the story as I have experienced so far is very good. The game overall is fantastic. But my God the map is so unhelpful. Actually spend like 30 mins just trying to find out where to go next. Meet new friends with different personalities, and gradually enrich the inner world of the protagonist Shiro. Grow up with Shiro and make different choices about the future of the mirror world to reach different endings. The game play is good too once you get used to it. If I compared it to another game, it would probably be Hollow Knight. The combat isn’t as engaging, at least as far as I’ve gotten, but fighting things is still fun. If your okay with getting frustratingly lost, give it a buy. You can experience a lot of what it has to offer in 2 hrs if that what your worried about. I really enjoyed the game.
Glimmer in Mirror Pre-Installed:
Playing as a cat was a refreshing and different approach compared to other story-driven games, and of course the cat is extremely cute. That was never a doubt. The puzzles themselves are nothing too spectacular, one or two made me stop and think, but never enough to disrupt the gameplay. If you’re looking for some complex puzzles, this is not the game for you. The puzzles are more like an attachment to the game, rather than part of the game’s core identity.
