Listening to Synthwave / Retrowave most people have had this feeling of nostalgia for an era they didn’t know or that never existed. The Retrowave is very much inspired by the ’80s, but is mostly an idealized futuristic version of the ’80s. This game offers the player the unique experience of being immersed in this wonderful world for at least a few moments… In Retrowave you will first start with one car, then you will be able to upgrade it or buy other cars with the money earned at the end of each run. Race your car through different unique worlds! Watch out for other vehicles on the road (yes, even in the future there will be traffic). Retrowave offers above all a visual and sound experience that will delight fans of the genre and will surely make those who don’t know it yet discover this wonderful universe. Through its simplicity, map design, car and mode selection, and of course, the soundtrack, this game actually delivers its job. A nostalgic game inspired by the 80’s enhanced by the addition of synthwave music. Its relaxing and a perfect game to play when you just want to sit back and chill I spent 7 hours straight playing it today and finished it because I am a maniac. This game is wonderful. The message(s) are wonderful, the characters are vibrant and living and endearing, the art is absolutely gorgeous, the soundtrack brought me to tears, every element of this game is so enjoyable. I will be playing this again soon (I think I played it a little too fast and didn’t get to fully enjoy the garden mechanics and building up relationships with the characters.
