About Ro Bio Improved 2:
After about an hour of assembling furniture, much like the first time I moved into my first apartment, everything look horrible. It was all misaligned and strewn about the room in a fashion one would expect from a newborn elephant attempting to decorate. I love it. The music in the background really allows you to relax and focus whatever you are working on. It sets the tone for the “ikea” home decorator we all have inside of us. The gameplay feels super solid and made it fun to actually assemble furniture… then destroy it… then play in confetti… This game hits all the fun points of a unique puzzle indie game. I highly recommend picking it up. Funny at first, but quickly lost its appeal. Furniture you need to build changes, but it didn’t feel like the difficulty really increased and the experience didn’t change much over time. It just took longer to understand. Or maybe I didn’t play long enough to get to gameplay changes, in which case the game didn’t introduce enough novelty at a satisfying pace. A great way to explore realistic IKEA-based teamwork challenges as you and your loved ones slowly begin resenting each other’s ill-timed practical jokes while trying to figure out, in varying degrees of seriousness, how these five random pieces could possibly assemble into something resembling a chair. You stop playing when everyone is so pissed and exhausted that you give up on that chair, close the game and never go into the attic again.
