Overview Seven Deadly Dates:
You’ve studied latin for a few months and you accidentally read a passage from your textbook which lands you in a demon speed dating bar. Unsure of how to get home, you decide to ride it out and see how things go. Maybe you’ll even find a date! Or maybe you’ll find death? Who knows… It’s everything you could expect from what you’re told! You go in, quickly date some demon girls, and just hope to not strike out. It’s simple, silly, and very fun. The art is adorable, what VA there is is very good, and it even has some legitimate quality humor inside. The one and only problem with the game is that few very minor spelling errors or lack of spaces in between words, but even those are very few and far between, this game is more then worth the money asked for it and I’m glad to have played it. The main way Tooth and Tail accomplishes this is via the playable commander. Rather than the player being an omniscient third-party that can selectively pick and choose units to perform actions, you control a commander (wasd or analog stick controls) that is the centralized focal point of your game. Any action taken revolves around your position, be it placing spwaners, buying farms, or commanding units to attack and retreat. This makes it impossible to micromanage units to the degree you can find in starcraft, but it also has the added benefit of your commander being a free scouting unit, especially since if you die, you respawn after a brief waiting period. This makes the main strategy a tug-of-war between following your opponents’ progress for information, and trying to amass an army in your own base, especially reacting to which units your opponent is playing to prepare an appropriate response.
